Hi there, great board!
I am an American whose law firm is increasingly doing business with clients in Asia (China, mainly, but also other countries.) I am considering doing my LLM in Asia to get more exposure to regional trade and tax laws, as well as more cultural awareness.
Any suggestions? Should I focus on Hong Kong or Singapore (HKU/NUS/CUHK...) or would I be better off with a school in mainland China? (Tsinghua?)
Open to suggestions!

NUS is probably the most popular destination for international students (too bad they stopped the NYU@NUS program).
HKU, CUHK, Tsinghua are very good schools, but I wonder whether it wouldn't make more sense to move to a China office of your law firm (if it has one...).

Thanks for the info. No, my law firm doesn't have an office there (yet.)
I think I'm going to focus on NUS and CUHK, I think I'd rather be in Singapore and Hong Kong than Beijing. NUS in particular is really interesting to me.
