The University
Located just outside the city center, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) is one of the top universities in Lithuania to study Law. According to QS ranking by subject 2020 MRU was ranked between 250 best Universities in the world to study Law.
MRU Law school offers many Master degree programs in Law in the fields of International, European, Private, Intellectual Property Laws with some of the programs being joint or double degree with partner University. MRU offers to LL.M. programs in Mediation or LegalTech.
The Law School
MRU Law school has 4 academic units:
- Institute of Criminal Law and Procedure
- Institute of Private Law
- Institute of International and European Union Law
- Institute of Public Law
Law School has many distinguished Lithuanian legal scholars and professors on staff: Constitutional Court and Supreme Court Justices; Appellate Court, Administrative, District Judges; attorneys, prosecutors, notaries.
It offers many Master degree programs in Law in the fields of International, European, Private, Intellectual Property Laws with some of the programs being joint or double degree program with partner Universities (Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Ukraine), University of Bordeaux (France), Université Savoie-Mont-Blanc (France)).
MRU offers 2 LL.M. programs of 1 year duration in Mediation or LegalTech.

Entry Requirements
All applicants applying for Master program in Law must provide the following:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent first university degree diploma in Law (3-year study duration minimum)
- Academic Transcripts of each study year
- Document proving English language level of B2
- Motivational letter
- Passport copy
Additional educational documents might be required depending on the country of residence or chosen study program.
Applicants might be required to take entrance examination.
Application Procedure
Mykolas Romeris University has one intake per year for studies commencing from September 1st.
Applications for academic year 2021-2022 until May 31st, 2021 at online application portal: apply.mruni.eu.
In order to apply for studies at MRU you need to follow these steps:
- Choose a study programme
- Fill in the application form at apply.mruni.eu
- Pay the non-refundable application fee of 100 euros
- Receive your application evaluation results
- Confirm your acceptance by paying the first-year tuition fee
- Sign the study contract and receive your admission letter
- Start visa application procedure
- Register to studies
Tuition and Fees
Tuition fees for academic year 2021-2022 will be confirmed in the beginning of March, 2021 after the normative fees are set by the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Lithuania.

Mykolas Romeris University seeks to ensure that all students receive high quality education regardless of their financial situation, therefore, it offers scholarships for prospective international students. More information at University's website.
Location

University surroundings
Mykolas Romeris University is located in green campus just 20 minutes to the old town of capital Vilnius, which is included in UNESCO Heritage list.
The University itself includes student dormitories, MRU LAB, volleyball field, sports halls and library which is working extended working hours during exams session.
All campus is covered with wireless high quality internet available for students free of charge.
Accommodation
Affordable accommodation on campus is offered to all international students of Mykolas Romeris University. MRU Student house offers shared rooms for two or three students, also single rooms. All the rooms have Internet access.
