Are there any lawyers/practicioners amongst the admitted students or are you all university professors/assistants?
I am in both streams -- teaching and active law practice/litigation

I think it's acutally pointless to call them; if you look back on past years, they always said that not all the offers had gone out, even though it was actually the case :p

Yes, I was thinking the same.
Last year they sent some offers within a period of 2 or 3 days, though.
However, I am completely pesimistic by now. I am counting on my rejection. It is not the end of the world, but still... hit me hard. A terrible night, dreaming of mails, calls and so forth.
Best of the vibes from Colombia to those who are in the same situation! in my case, it hasn't been easy.

Ive been asking all the people I know- I havent heard of anyone getting in yet. Perhaps they just gave India a miss this year?

Guys, it would be very strange to leave India out....seriously. It would actually make me think Yale is not a desirable school at all! It would be completely out of reality since India is one of the most important countries in the current world (and future). What sort of international class would be good without ppl from India?? Most likely the person who got the call is not sharing with us (what is defo not thoughtful of this person) ....unfortunately. Btw, last year, it seems, two ppl from India got in.

It just speculation guys- considering that its been a couple of days since Yale made calls and people are usually happy to talk about being admitted! don't get worked up about it! We'll all know when we know- if you hear anything let us know also!

That's how it was last year, before that there were also rejections by mail. Usually about two weeks after the phone calls
Aside from that, is it already clear by when the admitted candidates will have to accept the offer?
