The article is a bit flawed. It seems to think that the only point of doing an LLM is a better job opportunities. I think people might have other reasons for doing an LLM, like wanting to learn more, gain exposure abroad etc.

I agree. The article presents a limited evaluation of an LL.M.'s worth in today's professional environment. There may indeed be lesser appreciated fields but evolving areas are also worth pursuing.
