i will, in all probability, also turn down GULC in favour of NYU ... hope to meet some you there ... (having said that, still waiting for CLS -- God knows what they are up to ... )

I just sent an email, telling them I am not coming. However, I got an automatic office reply, telling me that they won't be able to respond to all emails. Well, I certainly hope that they do read them!

As Mila did, I just sent an e-mail to GULC telling them I will not go.
I think that is a good gesture to inform to the Universities asap our decisions, so we can create new space for the people that are in waitng lists (For example, I am in Chicago waiting list).

so almost everybody prefers NYU over GULC...
It's a very good gesture to inform admissions offices if you decide to reject an offer...

how lucky you all to be admitted to Georgeton!
my application status just turned to be "Decision" yesterday afternoon (Mar 28 05.22 pm). I emailed them to ask what is the decision of the office on my application and I got an autoreply.
Will they email us on whatever decision they made or we have to wait for their mail, since a mail from the US usually takes more than a month to be delivered to my country?
Thank you for any enlightment anyone would kindly provide on this.

no..
they don't give decision results via phone or e-mail. so you have to wait the decision letter to be delivered to you. or if you are admitted, you will have access to the admitted studentweb page in 4 days after the decision.

btw, they send the admission result via e-mail if you can not receive your foemal letter within 10 days after decision date.

actually, i received notification of admission by e-mail on the same day that my status changed to "decision". it appears they do different things with different people. if this process has taught me anything it is to not believe a word the schools tell you abt how they will communicate their decisions to the applicants.
