Acceptance at GW isn't an effective "bargaining chip" at UVA. But it works the other way round.
With the exception of HYS (where scholarships are really granted for what they're supposed to be: finance graduate studies of brilliant students who can't afford it), scholarships are used by law schools to convince you to join them over a higher ranked school.
which University is a heavy weight?

Yeah, I agree !! This also suggests that UVA is a superior law school. So, I'll keep my fingers crossed...I really hope I get financial assistance from UVA :)

hi,
i applied to duke uva and ucla..i also applied to gwu (llm ip)
anyway the decision is hard : but at the end, people say that location matters very hard, so, isn't Washington the best option ?
so anyone has experience with living in dc, or in the others (durham - charlottesville)?
i would be gratefull for some reactions
