Did anyone apply? Is it worth the additional USD10,000?

With regards to the Wharton Business and Law Certificate Program, does it only allow admitted LLM applicants to apply, as I dont remember seeing this option during the online application. Besides, is 15 March the deadline for the this certificate? If so, what about people who accept their offers after the above date? Thanks.

This a very good question! I still haven't received any news from UPenn, but the certificate is one of the reasons I applied in the first place...

I certainly will apply to the certificate. Actually I am finishing my essay and intend to submit it later this week.
As you might know there are several threads discussing the certificate. I think that it is a very good investment - your resume will certainly look prettier with Wharton on it.
Additionally, only admitted students can apply to the certificate. Once admitted, your page at Penn's website will be modified and you will be able to submit an additional application aiming the certificate. And yes, at least for me, the deadline is March 15th.
Finally, the certificate is also one of the reasons I applied to Penn. I have talked to a currently LLM student that is attending the certificate and he/she told me great things about it.
Good luck for everyone who is still wating.

May I ask you when did you apply or when was your application considered completed? Was it early or regular decision?

Congratulations for getting in!
I applied by the Feb 1 deadline, so we will probably have to wait a bit longer.
Hopefully, the deadline to apply for the Wharton certificate will be extended.

:S it better be.. finger crossed on that too :)
otherwise we would be out of chance with no prior notice and thus unequal treatment (sorry, the lawyer in me)
please correct me if I'm wrong.. I do not recall any information on the website about regular cycle applicants being unable to go for the wharton certificate, so.. I hope that the deadline may be automatically extended once admitted. I'd better email Penn :)

Exactly, there was nothing mentioned.
Talking about equal treatment, the lucky early decision guys/girls would have had more time to hone their Wharton application essays, it would be quite unfair if we had the same deadline.

On the website it does say it considers exceptional cases with regards to the deadline. but that again becomes unfair to any "ordinary applicant" who just happens to receive offers after the deadline. rRingal, please let us know their reply if you get one. Thanks.
