I've been placed on 4 wait lists - UCLA, Cornell, Penn and Duke. I was wondering what the odds of were getting in to these schools, and if anyone had any advice as to additional things to do to ensure a spot.
Thanks in advance!

I've been accepted by Case Western in the US; King's College London; Queen Mary (Univeristy of London) and a few others which I've already decided not to go to.
I'm curious about the waitlists because moving to London is a major commitment in terms of money and time, and to be honest, although it will be a great experience, I would choose any of my waitlist schools over Kings (which is probably where I would go)

King's College is a great university!
It's possible that you get in one of your waiting list law schools, but I have no idea how many students they waitlist, how many waiting list students haven't accepted/decided to go to other universities and how many free places they have to fill in a couple of weeks...
I can be wrong, but I think King's has no deadline? So you can wait and see...?

Yup, I know King's is supposed to be good...and I believe you're right about not needing to let them know right away - their offer is conditional until you send them your diploma and final grades. But moving overseas requires a bit of planning, so I thought I would ask about the waitlists.
Thanks for your help - waiting out the waitlist decisions is just restarting the anticipation that I thought was over!

I graduated from King's in 2005, I have to say it is a great place to study. London is an awesome place to live and work. King's has excellent student associations that have many informal recruiting sessions with the city firms. LLM class sizes are small, you don't take classes with LL.B. students, so you can build good relationships with the teaching staff.
As to expense, even for overseas students, I doubt Kings will be too expensive. The most expensive aspect is living in London, but your tuition fees will be less than the top private schools in the US. However, I believe the experience of living in London is worth every single penny. I cannot wait to get back to London after finishing my LL.M.
As to the waitlists, I am fed up of waiting. I think I will just plan on heading to George Washington as I am fed up with messing around! Some schools take far too long.
