Hi everyone,

I belive applicants shall start all the F-1 visa filings by the time they get accepted into a LL.M program.

But does anybody have a clue on what are the formalities to carry out in order to have a companion (e.g wife) into the US?

thnx

Just check with your school. Usually you just have to submit the passport picture page of the spouse/dependent and prove you have enough money to cover the costs of both of you. Not sure about domestic partners because they aren't recognized the same way in the US as in other countries. Whatever school you got into should be able to tell you though. They answer these questions all the time!
