UVA VS GEORGETOWN

Hi there!

I just received an offer of admission from Georgetown and Virginia. However, I am still hesitating about which law school I should pick. I know that Georgetown location is great but I think that Virginia LLM class are much better due to the amount of LLM students. Any suggestions?

Congrats! They are both excellent schools. I think the general rule is to go the highest ranking school you get into. I believe it to be generally true; and that would be Georgetown for you. GT has a better location too, good mass transit system and no vehicle needed. UVA is kinda in the middle on noplace, but have nice drinking areas and shops nearby, but you'll need a car to get to them. I went to Georgetown and I attened the US Army's JAG school, which is located on the UVA law school campus. So I've lived in both locations. But you can't go wrong either way. Both school's LLm programs are admired revered.
