Hi friends! Could anyone inform me about the LLM program at UT? I would love to know when the LLM decisions are made and what are the chances of obtaining a partial scholarship.

I got through to the University of Texas. Heard from thm on the 19th of February. Probably coz i had asked them to expedite my decision coz i also have a deposit deadline at Boston College..

@atticus I also have a time limit at BC and Tulane.. I wonder if I should tell them this also.. Did u get a scholarship offer at UT? I wonder how large are the chances to get a partial scholarship at UT. Do you know what you're going to choose? We might meet at BC..

I dunno about the scholarship options at UT.. i didn't get one. If u have a deposit deadline too u should contact them. They are really nice n helpful. So far i like BC.. Dunno why.. I kinda love their program. So yes there is a possibility that we might be classmates.. that would be fun..!!

Thanks Teegal.. I applied for their LLM for foreign lawyers with a specialisation in corporate law. I like BC's corporate law program. Its very interesting and quite flexible in case you want to add a bit of constitutional law to study. Plus they have a small class size.. so probably more personalized..

Hi guys! I just received news that I got in to the Global Energy Program. But I wasn't offered a scholarship. If I don't get a scholarship, I think I will choose between Tulane and BC. good luck to you Teegal and congrats to atticus.

I also got an admission offer yesterday! I asked a friend who did his LLM in UT years ago and got an scholarship and he told me that the scolarship was awarded through a different letter. So I was wondering how did you know you didnt get scholarships? I am planning to ask.
Has anyone got an admission to the University of Houston?

hi cmqs ! I read in the website that scholarships are usually given out when applications decisions are made. Therefore, I assumed that I did not receive one. I have emailed the school though, asking them about this. However so, I think I will be attending the LLM at Boston College instead of UT. The city of Boston is very appealing. I plan to pay the deposit asap. @atticus, I hope we'll meet!
