USC vs UCLA

Hey!
I have been offered scholarships to both USC and UCLA - USC is 10k more- and I was wondering if the difference between the two schools was worth spending an extra 10k to go to UCLA? I did a semester abroad to USC two years ago and absolutely loved it, but have had no experience with UCLA whatsoever, so not sure how they would compare. I am wanting to eventually sit both NY and California bar and do a media law certification!

Thanks for your help :)

I had to make the same choice but with only a 5k difference. I chose USC. They put more resources into their LLM students. Private v public does make a slight difference. Plus if you are into entertainment law they have really good courses.

Ok amazing thank you!! I paid a deposit for USC last weekend for the exact same reason - being the smaller class sizes and as you said they put more resources into their LLM students! I did a semester exchange at USC two years ago and loved it! So I think in the end USC is the best choice for me too :)

Hello! I plan to work in sports organization like pro teams and pro leagues. Which do you think better to get a position in such fields?

Hello guys, any information or advice will be much appreciated. Is it possible to request for the I-20 forms for the F-1 visa from two different schools? Will either school know that i have requested an I-20 from the two schools?

Kookyei, stick to the question. This discussion is about UCLA v. USC! I personally think there is not a big difference between these two schools. They are both top-notch when it comes to media law and sports law, which you guys, lawy123er and Wat, are looking for. You cannot go wrong no matter which school you choose.

Generally speaking, for TOEFL, it is always better to get the score as high as possible. In my opinion, I think personal statement weights more than your English proficiency. You should state and clarify your interest in Entertainment Law on your personal statement.
