Hi guys~
Last year, I got admissions from USC, and UCLA.
Could you tell me which one is better choice?
I am considering LLM to JD transer program.
It looks like that there is no difference between the two options..
Any body knows the difference between the two schools?
USC? or UCLA?..LLM

from a ranking perspective, I believe UCLA would be much better.
My personal choice would also be UCLA!

Your ranking perspective might be a little off. :-) They are ranked 15th and 18th!

yes, you are correct - UCLA is 15th and USC is 18th. However, UCLA has a better international ranking (overall as a university in general).

Hi guys,
I am currently a LLM student at USC and I would like to say that USC has a great reputation worldwide. It has alumni offices across the globe. Additionally, since it is a privately funded school, unlike UCLA, it provides more resources to students such as the Early Bar Prep program, funding for student organizations like the JD-LLM Partnership. I am extremely happy with the LLM Program at USC!

I think that you should go with what you think is more suitable to you. The reputation Worldwide usually does not matter that much, unless you are in a top 5 school, because Harvard is Harvard.
Regarding UCLA or USC you should look more for the soft factors, such as location, campus, class size, classes etc. I am pretty sure that both are great choices. I would have chosen UCLA over USC simply because of it's nice campus and great location.
But reputation actually is not an issue for these to. Though, I kind of think that UCLA might be a little bit more popular worldwide. But that's just a guess and refers to my country only...

Hey guys. I have been reading posts and people have been talking about the non-importance of the LLM program, that you don't even need it, etc.... I currently live in the US and want to continue living here I applied to USC and UCLA and these quotes made me interested, any comments?
