I received the same mail as well, apparently it is customary for Upenn to send all mails at the same time so we might expexct to receive the admission/rejection mails on the same day, anytime soon (I hope...)

Miki- If I remember correctly, people received their acceptance letters on different days last year. So I doubt if thats true. Also, they send acceptance thru emails unlike some other univs.

Hi, VA! Sorry haven't been checking llm-guide for a few weeks. but to answer your question, no, no news from anywhere. Except for a. the email from UPenn that everyone else got, and b. the email from gulc opening of a new program (IEBL). I didn't really apply to many schools, because I didn't want to get more confused and indecisive than I already am! =D

I'm wondering if the persons who have already been admitted to UPenn were those who had deferred from last year?

I understand that the admission decision notification will come via e-mail, at least for early notification.
I confirmed it with Graduate Admissions Office, and it is stated on FAQ website under "Applicant - When Will I Hear Regarding My Application?" subject.

Besides, I would like to hear people's opinions as to the recent e-mail from Penn "News From Penn Law", re: change in Wharton program for LLM.
Being at U Penn, attending famous Wharton's courses as well would be interesting. But after the change, it may mean that LLM students will only be able to participate evening part time certificate program where mainly Philly local business persons come, as opposed to full time day MBA program consist of selected student from around the globe which is the main part of Wharton. I do not have clear picture per se, but if anyone have opinions, etc., please share those.

Does some one of you received news about UPENN decision times directly from faculty staff?

I know that the UPENN LLMS FAQS says that we will receive news by February 8th, but in previous years it seems that UPENN sent notifications during the first day of February.

Any comments early applicants?

hopefully, all of us receive positive response and we'll meet in real soon!

I'm in the same situation as you guys are.

Today is already friday so, if there is no response today, we'll only hear from them next week. It's so stressful...

If someone of you has a personal contact at UPENN, can you please ask him if the admissions for early appliers will be send today? And post the response?

Its so hard to wait when the answer is in the corner!

I heard that the results were sent out on the 3rd last year.

So this year they are behind their schedule.
