Thought I’d start the discussion for this years batch of applications.
Last year, people that applied ED got to hear of decisions from mid January onwards. Let’s keep each other in the loop.
Best of luck to all!

Nothing yet. My application has been under review since 9th November.
Thought we’d be hearing back by now.

I've been under review since the 1st December. I'd hope it would be by next week-ish?

Posted Jan 20, 2021 07:30
Nothing as yet. Anxiously awaiting.

It is a hard to wait for it . My current state date has been changed to January 12th, 2021.

Maybe all the decisions released around today last year were all for Early Decision applicants?

That’s the thing. I did apply for early notification. On their page, Penn mentions that those who apply by 15th November, will be notified whether they have been accepted, rejected or deferred by 1st February.

I got in touch with them, and they said that EA applicants will be notified by the beginning of February. We will have to be patient

Hi, @everyseason12,
Did they say it took time to make decisions for EA applicants compared to the previous years due to the pandemic? I think the decisions will definitely be made by Feb. 1st at the latest as stated in Penn’ website.
