updating applications

I am wondering if anyone has ever tried to update their LL.M. applications once they have received notification that their file has been complete. What is the best way to let the colleges know about new information (eg scholarships, publications etc) that might help your admission chances?

I am equally keen to know if anybody has any inputs for the same. I hope send in an additional letter of recommendation along with a revised CV (atleast to my dream school), but a small part within me, feels a little skeptical probably because it seems really desperate.

Any inputs/insights on the same will be helpful. Thanks in advance for the same.

dosent look so problematic to me..jus send in your updated cv or transcript or whatever the document is to the law school along with a covering letter telling them that you are sending them an updated version of a document alredy sent..you may also enclose a copy of the email they sent you confirming that your file is complete to avoid administrative hassels at their end..

In my case, I was told by NYU that some pages of my application were not transmitted properly, so they needed me to send it again (Note: I had received an email stating my application was COMPLETE late November)
So I sent those pages (where they need my resume as well) and I got to send updated information to them...
