Has anyone been admitted from the standby group for the LLLM

Also how is the aid money at this school

If you're admitted from the waitlist, you will not get any scholarships. Also, mostly people are not admitted from waitlist!

@Santa : I don't know where you got this information, but my friend got admitted through the waitlist and received financial aid. I guess there are exceptions.

I might be wrong. At least, you will not get merit scholarships I think... :)

I heard that quite a few admitted students rejected Chicago's offer this year. As a result, they admitted students from the waitlist and "the waitlist of the waitlist". Scholarship serves to encourage admitted students to attend their LLMs.

I got admitted and provided with a scholarship, although was in the standby group (which is different from the waiting list, btw).

Therefore, the situation with the standby grouo has nothing in common with scholarships.
