Thanks Richardvf...I actually got my undergraduate degree from UT so I'm quite familiar with Austin. Any info about the law school would be helpful...although I've been to the law school building on many occassions...I got my degree in music and was right across the street from the law school, and we used to go have lunch at Subway located within the law school virtually everyday...

*tries to think back* that's a tough one really - i haven't been there for so long. if you're wanting to know more about austin generally, there's a lot of info on websites like:
austin.com
austin360.com
and the citysearch.com should have a page for austin too.
from where else have you received offers? the resources at that uni are INCREDIBLE!!! faculty amazing. city wonderful. maybe we'll be on the same program!

Texas generally gets a bad rap, but Austin is a really great place to live. The University itself is huge, around 50,000 students. The law school has great facilities and instructors. With 1,400 to 1,500 law students, it is one of the largest law schools in the US.

hi....well i have too received an acceptance letter from UT for the LLM 07. but i too have an offer from GWU, Dc so still thinking about it....does any one have any inputs for me...

I couldn't compare the two, except to say that UT is one of the larger and, compared to GWU, better law schools. I was also going to apply GWU until I found out I got into UT if that says anything from my end.
Congrats!
Congrats!
