Compared with several factors(thesis requirement, living environment, instructos qualification...) which one is better for an international student?

I would go for Houston. A strong regional school on the upwards and with a very good course selection.

If you want to do energy, you simply cannot go wrong with Houston.

Houston is big, nice weather, cheap, good facilities and a bargain these days!
