Hi guys who else just got admitted into UGA LLM? I am an international student and I just got admitted but no decision on tuition waiver yet. I’m hopeful I’ll be lucky this time as I wasn’t lucky the last time

i applied 16/12 and got admitted 04/01

Understood! But before they sent you your admission email, did they send an email acknowledging receipt?

yes an email was sent to me on the 24/12 acknowledging application receipt and requesting additional doc

in about two weeks or less you should get your decision. At least you applied before the 15th January which marks the close of consideration for financial aid and tuition waiver

Hey! I just got an e-mail and they asked if we could have a zoom interview. any of you had an interview? Because I believe they do not require an interview normally.

I applied during christmas break so I assume they started to review my application after jan 5th. No there was no information about admission. E-mail says they want to discuss my application. My wild guess is they are confused by my Resume since I am co-founder of a foundation but i did not mentioned about it in my statement.

It would be nice to talk someone who had interviewed before. I just hope it wont be a "where do you see yourself in 5 years?" type of interview.

just stay positive, the interview may not be anything serious. I’m keenly for January 16th when they’ll begin to make decisions on scholarships and I hope I get lucky this year even though I’m not relying on them 100

hi , I don’t think you should lose the faith just yet. They’ll admit you but most likely won’t give any scholarships concessions. You’ll have to pay the full tuition of about $55k

Applied on the 15th (just made the scholarhsip deadline ). Waiting on my transcripts from Venezuela. Hopefully they are sent soon, the political/COVID situation in my country is making it a little harder to get them.
