Hey everyone -
I wanted to start a thread for all of those who will be attending a UF LLM program. Hopefully, we can all get in contact with each other before the start of the year.
I was admitted to the Tax program and will be enrolling for next year.

Hi,
I too have been admitted in the Intl' Tax Program. Quick question, has any one of you received the formal admission letter?
Cheers,
Ansh

Hi Avdesh!
I had a couple of questions:
1. What is the ratio of 'US' International Tax versus 'International' International Tax at Levin School of Law? In the sense, how relevant is it to India?
2. I saw your post regarding Florida/Boston versus Vienna. What made you choose Florida over Vienna (If you don't mind me asking?)
3. How important is it to have a work experience with regard to the course that is taught at Levin?
Thanks in advance for taking out time in your busy week for exams and answering the questions!

Hi Ansh,
out of an average batch of 105-110 students, 22-25 are international (Non US) students. The course is focused on US international tax laws. In my opinion, this is the best tax program in US, however, if you want to go back and work in India, it might not be a great idea to come here. Focus is on US law. Secondly, I always wanted to work in US thats why chose UF and not Vienna. I was offered 100% scholarship there but US was always the first choice. Work experience is good but not having it will not make much of a difference, Lot of people start this program right after there JD. However, any tax experience is a plus and gives you a better perspective of things. let me know if you have any questions. We can talk (in detail) on phone if you plan to come down here.
