Dear all,
I thought it would be helpful to create a thread in order to keep us informed of our respective applications to UCLA.
What are your backgrounds/where are you from? When did you apply?
Besides, I have applied through LSAC but my account shows that my transcripts have not been sent to UCLA due to "data issue". Has anybody the same mention ? I tried to contact LSAC regarding this matter but received no specific answer...
Thanks for your feedback and wish you all great success!

Is it possible to apply through LSAC? from what I know, it only via the law school. Or am I wrong?

You are right, you have to apply through their website.. However LR and transcripts must be submitted through LSAC (that was what I was talking about)..:)

Did you get an application fee waiver?
Posted Nov 29, 2012 18:59
Yes my UCLA online application account confirms that my application fee has been waived and also confirms that my personal statement and resumé have been received..!

Hi guys! I just came about this post!
I have applied to UCLA too, for an LLM, Fall 2013. UCLA is waiving application fee for all applicants this year.
I also received an invitation to apply and an application fee waiver from Northwestern and University of Michigan law school.
Anyone received any communication from any of these schools or any other school?

Hey! No i did not ask for it..
If you're registered on candidate referral service on LSAC, the schools can also look at the documents you have submitted to LSAC. So that way if they are interested they can contact you too. So I received emails from both Northwestern and UMich giving me a waiver.
Also.. just wanted to know.. are you applying to these schools as well? which ones if I may ask?

Hey.. i did not apply to the Kellogg K- LLM. I spoke to an academic advisor there and she said that is primarily for people with significant work experience. And I will only have 1 year when I reach college.
I applied for the normal LLM Program.

I have 7 years of work experience, so i think this should be enough...
Have you or will you apply to other corporate/securities programs as well?

Does anyone knows if UCLA grants their decision on a rolling-basis? I am currently experiencing some problems with my application (LSAC lost one of my LR...*great*), therefore I am a bit worried to see my application submitted with a consequent delay...

Hey! I quote- The Graduate Studies Committee will begin reviewing an application after all of its corresponding supporting documentation has been received. Admission results will be announced on a rolling basis from January through April. (Due to the large volume of applications received, it is difficult to predict when a decision regarding a specific application will be reached.) Applicants will receive an email informing them of the Committee's decision as soon as it is made, and an official letter will follow by post.
So u shd def try informing them about LSAC losing your LR and talk to them about it. And try and get another LR sent ASAP!
