good luck Atticus ... u sure have been a real support on this forum ... and we all hope u make it...
Posted Feb 04, 2010 23:25
Atticus, you're hillarious. Keep me posted though. Also, were you hinting that if you didn't get into Chicago, you wouldn't get into NYU? If you were (you might not have been), I'm not sure that's true. Chicago take 50 candidates. NYU accepts around 500.

Lostlawyer, you got into penn?! That's awesome! I think they have a brilliant program...
Posted Feb 04, 2010 23:28

@troutface- dun be funny now.. i m literally shaking here.. not a good feeling.. n yes i did kinda imply that.. NYU is a much sought after program in this forum.. more than chicago anyway..

Yes, I'll say something about BU. Like I said the other day, Boston itself is a brilliant city. I also happen to have spent a decent amount of time in and around BU buildings (though I didn't take any classes). REALLY nice buildings. I think it's more of a city campus in that it's mingled in with the city rather than isolated and secluded. Big congrats on your admission. In my opinion, BC and BU are neck and neck - there's no real difference academically between them. Both are very good. BU is quite modern looking and feeling though, whereas BC is more old school.
Posted Feb 04, 2010 23:38
@troutface- whats actually making me feel good about bc is the fact that their llm class is only 15 ppl... i'll probably get more individualised attention in the classroom and better shots at placement..
