I just finished the LPC in the UK and am looking for a job at the same time in the UK. I can work there.
I also would like to teach at some point. My background is on the trade, dispute resolution area, commercial as well as some energy work.
If I pick Durham, I can return to the U.S and do an LLM in the U.S or vice versa. Possibly an SJD. But for now, I guess Davis is a good option and I am considering both, but it is a hard decision.
Davis is strong in all these areas and Durham is known for having a solid trade programme. However I am not sure where to pick.

Any thoughts on the opportunities that either one of the courses might have?

both have almost same reputation, need to decide whether to study in the U.K or the U.S. However, if i were u i'd go to California, instead of studying in a dull and silence city Durham...

Thanks!!!
I guess you can''t compare both in terms of the whole experience!
UC Davis I suppose opens good oportunities in terms of the Bay area and also as for teaching opportunities is great to have a degree from the University of California!
Thanks!!!

Durham is a fantastic school, but I would pick Davis.
After all it is a degree from the University of California! you can't beat that!

It's hard to pick, but I would like to pick Durham. Durham is a great school, has a good reputation too. Most important, since your back ground is trade and commercial, and Durham is focus on that, you may learn more from Durham than Davis. and it's in U.K. I 'd love to live there all my life, it's much better than California.
