Hello everybody!
Is there anyone there admitted to the LLM program at the University of Texas-Austin?
I am enrolling and it would be interesting to share opinions about the process.

I think and heard that passing the NY bar (and any bar for that matter) depends a lot on your preparation outside of the courses you take while in the LLM. However, I have not decided yet if I will take the bar.
Mainly, I chose UT because of the curricula. I want to specialize in something very specific and the courses at UT attracted me the most.
Besides, I am going with family so we preferred someplace warmer.
What are your other alternatives?

I will take general course for understanding US Law, so the school (and its specific course) is not much important for me.
I am admitted to WASHU and other good schools too.
Unlike other schools, I do not have much information about UT Law School, its culture, people, support and general. I only saw the professors, the market price and reputation (ranking) when I applied for UT.

I've done a lot of research on UT and Austin. It seems a great place to live from what I have seen. UT is huge so there is a lot to do.
Where are you from?

I have received AD from UT this year. I thing UT is the best law besides TOP14 law schools in USA. The price is quite considerate, also, with the great location, u know, it is very close to houston, dallas, SA, students could gain valuable opportunities there. In addition, I think Austin is really a good place to study and live in, music, bar, parks, all of these attract me to UT!
Hope to meet u in the next year. Greetings from China.
