Hi everyone!
I´d really like to do my LLM next year in the US.
Unfortunately, I´m struggling to afford 40.000$ + x a year.
So my question is:
Does anyone know a reasonable law school, with a decent student life and a good programm for less money (20.000$-30.000$ or less)?
I appreciate any ideas!
Tuition fees!

Sure. Lousiana State University - They offer partial and complete tuition waiver. Also, McGeorge School of Law (University of the Pacific) offers scholarship and tuition is reasonable. Also St.Mary's School of Law in San Antonio (around $20,000 tuition) and Florida Coastal School of Law ($ 13000 for LLM online). I am like you, I cannot afford more than $20000 tuition, so I found reasonnable but good school. All the best to you.

I hope Alabama, Georgia, and U at Buffalo (and, perhaps, Temple, UConn and Houston) still offer far lower fees than most other law schools in the US (I have not entered their websites for quite sometime).

You should ask a student or a graduate of their LLM's student. Facebook is a good way to find LLM's student from these institution or just write to the law school you are interested in and ask that you contact a graduate (or an actual student) or have one write to you. I have done that and it is a good way to do your . All the best to you.

UMKC School of Law (University of Missouri at Kansas City) is also a very affordable school with a good ratio of LLM students passing the NY or Missouri bar after graduation. You should definitely check them out! And Kansas City is a lovely place to live/work.

If you write to Georgia Law at llm@uga.edu, they will connect you with an LLM student and tell you about scholarships.

I am a student at Franklin Pierce and I do not endorse any university.I am just giving information.
