Transfer Policy from llm to JD:Vancy Vs WUSTL

lq2224

I am a Chinese student. Recently I've got two admissiom from both Vanderbilt and WUSTL. The main fact for me to choose one out of this two is their transfer policy from llm to JD program since I plan to be a JD student after my llm graduation.
Though I have heard that about 20 students in WUSTL,nearly half of the total number, successfully transfered last year, there is no substantial evidence to prove this hearing.
On the other hand ,there are even no such hearing about Vancy's transfer policy

So,It would be very grateful if there is anyone who knows sth. about this two school tells that:
Does WUSTL really have such a possitive transfer policy from llm to JD?
Anything about Vancy's policy or it would be the best if somebody who is a student transfering from llm to JD in Vancy before could say sth.

My English is not that good,so if angthing above is wrong, I appreciate that you could kindly point them out

WUSTL does tend to let a large number of LLM students transfer to the JD program. They work very hard to coordinate with the international students and are well-respected in that regard.

Contrads on you fine achievement, mw3L08!

In case of WashU, you might want to check their web-site or your admission package. From what I understand, LLM graduates with grades over 84 out of 100 almost automatically can transfer to their JD program. There are no LSAT requirements. Upon 3 to 3 and a half years, you will have earned both LLM and JD from WashU.

I got my admission letter from WashU on Nov. 9th, 2008, too. I was lucky enough to be admitted to some other top law schools as well, including UPenn.

The question for me now is whether
(i) to go to a top ten law school LLM program with almost no JD transfer possibility or...
(ii) to go to a very good law school, WashU, and transfer to JD.
