Have any domestic applicants received acceptances/denials from the NYU Trade Regulation LL.M program yet?
NYU has been unbelievably slow!

I haven't heard anything either. Perhaps we are the only ones and will both get in? ;-)

I applied to the Trade Regulation program too. I'm assuming that they haven't made any decisions. Most of the NYU admits that I have personal knowledge of have all been tax. They were accepted in early March.
Makes me wonder, does NYU first fill up the LLM spots with Tax students and then fill whatever is left over with other specialties?
What do you know about the trade regulation program? How many students? Job opportunities after?

Got admitted to NYU Trade Regulation program about a month ago... My deadline to enroll is April, 15. You should maybe call the Admissions Office to know what's going on. Good luck

Are you international or domestic? I have heard of international students being admitted to trade regulation already, but not any domestic yet.
Posted Apr 06, 2009 21:31
Yes, my understanding is that they handle int'l students first, then domestic students after the April 1st deadline. Are there any domestic students out there that have heard from NYU?
Posted Apr 06, 2009 21:44
I am a domestic trade reg applicant, and have yet to hear anything...looks like Assas2009 is from France, which means so far no domestic people have confirmed getting admitted yet.
You are not alone.

Yes that's right. I'm from France...

Holy crap! Just got admitted to NYU Trade Regulation! Any other domestic candidates get the good news today?
Posted Apr 20, 2009 20:53
Congratulations and thanks for the update! Can I ask if you got an email or letter in the mail?

Congratulations. Do you mind sharing a summary of your credentials--either here or in a private message? I have not heard anything.

When did your application go complete?
Posted Apr 21, 2009 02:09
They send an email and you have to log into the application website, then download a password protected pdf. Super annoying process.
Application was complete in early February (the 5th or so, I believe).
Stats - American Univ. alum, top 6%, order of the coif, law review, and clinic. A couple years in practice but got laid off and am hoping to switch practice areas in the meantime.
Good luck to you all!

I was accepted this morning as a domestic applicant. Good luck to those who are still waiting.
Posted Apr 23, 2009 01:02
Do you mind sharing when your application went complete? Two acceptances two mornings in a row, maybe the wait won't be too much longer.

I applied very early. It was probably complete in October or November. The website says, for whatever it's worth, that as long as the applications are complete by April 1, decisions are made without regard to the application date. Good luck.

Just wondering--have any domestic candidates for NYU's Trade Regulation LLM have been rejected yet?
I keep telling myself to be happy not to have been rejected yet, but it seems like they may not reject anybody until all the seats are filled. If that is the case, not being rejected yet is probably less of a reason to be optimistic.

I haven't been rejected yet. The waiting game is terrible.

Hey, I am a prospective NYU Trade Regulation LLM student for the 2010 term. Could those who have been accepted please help me out (either by posting here or by a PM) by informing me of their qualifications? Thanks

Got rejected (finally) for the NYU trade regulation LLM this morning. I am a 2009 JD graduate from U. of Hawaii, ranked top 25% of class, highest grade in International Business Transactions class, outside articles editor of a law journal. Hope that info helps anybody else making a decision. Good luck!
