which university ?

Never done one. But here is what I would suggest: take up pen and paper, write down every conceivable question you think they would ask an aspiring admittee, and then carefully and thoughtfully outline your response to each question. If possible, have a colleague or classmate assist you in brainstorming questions and critiquing your answers. You may not have time to do all of that. Just be prepared, relaxed and let your natural charisma and intellect come out in the interview. Good luck!
And please...let us know which school it is!

I know Stanford does it. What I heard from past students is that the interview takes approx. 20 minutes and they ask you general questions ("Why Stanford?" "How is the political situation in your country?", etc). In the end they want to check if you are articulated and can speak fluent English. You must be is a short list or something like that. Would you mind sharing with us which school is that?

thanks for guys suggestions...
Actually, I still fell nervous although many people said that school will not ask professional questions.
oh, by the way, the school is Boston University!

I did one last year. It was from Penn and it was only for testing my english mastery.
It took 20-25 minutes and they asked me about my home country, compare it to U.S.A., which was by best journey, decribe your hobbies, exc.
Nothing special.

Hey yueping don't worry, it was only for testing my english speach because I was under their minimum acceptance standard. My TOEFL score was 230... that's why I did an interview. Besides, it happened prior to the admission notification.

I've just been through the interview from BU.
The interviewer was a nice guy.
At the beginning, he told me not to be nervous, and the whole conversation was just like some nice chat.
So, don't worry the interview too much. Be relax.
Here are the questions the interviewer asked me:
Q: tell me about your interests in law?
Q: How do you know about Boston? Do you know people who have studied here?
what are their names? what did they say about BU?
Q: will you take bar exam in US? why?
Q: what's your career goal? Where do you want to work after you obtain degree?
Q: Have you ever been to Boston? How do you know about this city?
Q: how do you evaluate your English skill in speaking, writing, listensing and reading?
Q: Do you have any questions to ask me?

Hello
I have had something like it but different...
I had a call from a tax professor residing in my home country. He said that Dean Hadad asked him to call me and let me know all I wanted to know about the program.
I could not speak so we arranged to meet next week. He will come to my office for a coffee. I assume its an interview but he did not say any thing of it and he is coming to me rather have me come to him.. Weired. isn't it?!
So you say its an interview to check my English? my TOEFL is 273. not even close to their minimum...
Did the interviewer tell you when you will receive the decision?

The program I apply to is American Law Program, and each program may have different process.
They didn't tell me when the decision will be made.

Just to let you know, I just received an email letting me know that I will have a phone interview with dean Hadad.
So I will have in fact two interviews... One with the professor living in my home country and one one the phone with the dean...
I wonder what it means and if someone else have it the same like me...
