If possible can you please disclose your background, so that I can speculate as to where I stand.

I would love to have been in the position that would make you direct that question intentionally to me legal-eagle, but I am afraid I am not:) It is Munema that is accepted into CLS, not me. I merely quoted from his message, and you probably thought I was the one accepted into CLS.

Sigh!! I wish you were right!! :))

Same here. But I don´t know if was CLS that lost my rec. letters or the glorious brazilian post office service.

Chaging the subject a little, what do you think is the main criteria used by CLS to admit someone? Previous work experience, law school ranking or none of the above?

Hi everybody! Quick question: whoever got admitted, applied through the early cycle right? I´m freaking out here, because I only got an email saying my apllication was complete, but I applied through the regular cycle!

There's another group for CLS 2009/2010 LLMs at http://www.lawyrs.net/groups/124/cls-class-of-2010

Thanks for mentioning the CLS group. I founded it just a few days ago and we are 7 so far. There's also a group on FB, but it seems to take some time to get approved by the admin.

I will promote the group in the other forums as well and hope some more join.

Hi everyone!
I'm finding all your posts pretty useful so I have decided to join in as well. I received my application complete email on January 23 and I haven't got any further news from CLS. Do you know how much time will have to wait?? I applied on the regular cycle.
I've already gotten an offerd from Fordham but wouldn't want to make a decision until I hear from NYU and CLS. Any advise?

Anita, I´m in the exactly same situation as you. I got a deferral from Fordham, so I won´t have to make the deposit until March. In the meantime, just waiting for CLS and NYU...
