I recently completed an LLM at a US university (I have a UK LLB), with view to studying for the bar in New York. However, I'm not so sure that I want to work in New York now.
Can anyone help me compile a list of those states that accept foreign qualified lawyers that have a US LLM? I am particularly interested in those that do not require a certain number of years experience. I've read the ABA handbook on this, but I'd be interested in the experiences of anyone who has taken this route in other US states.
I've got two so far:
1. New York
2. California
Others not sure of: Massachusetts, North Carolina?????
