I went crazy waiting for an email from SLS. Everyday, they surprise us with new things, just yesterday two candidates kenw they're waitlisted. A month ago, many said SLS does not have a waiting list?
Anyhow, they said all decisions will be announced early April. Do you think we'll hear anything today?

Yes -what you can do is to let go of the nonrefundable fee and enrol to SLS. Alternatively what you could have done with the schools was to negotiate the enrollment dates for extension.

Honestly I have not yet received anything from SLS/CGP either but I am not really keen on going to SLS given alumni network is not widespread. I think CLS is a wonderful choice and I would have enrolled to CLS as well if it was not for some scholarship NYU gave me

Sure. Firstly i think the main differentiation is between whether you wuld like to continue in academics or practice. I am from a not so favored country intrigued about NY amd London job markets. What my partners in London offices and various alumni told me is that people usually find jobs through previous alumni (not through job fairs). So the fact that the CGP program of SLS is so small decreases the chances of coming across to alumni in NY and London job markets. But then again it is a fantastic school and I would consider it seriously if an admission came/comes within the course of this mobth.

One would assume that they know who they want to take pretty quickly, and that they know who they'd reject equally quickly, and that therefore the people uncommunicated to are those they are unsure about or keep to hedge their bets. However, SLS hasn't communicated any rejections either. The fact that they are not communicating rejections is quite baffling and rather unkind. I reckon it's quite easy to send out a prescribed format email saying that "the competition this year was particularly strong" and all that jazz.

I also received a similar e-mail.. I cannot wait much longer. I think that they might wait for the deadline, April 15th, to send new decisions. So we might have to wait until next week.

Ps. SLS was the only university that have not send any decision regarding my application. All other universities send me an e-mail at least 3 weeks ago.
