My Congratulation,
I lived in NYC with my girlfried when she was at Columbia (not law). We really love that time. I think that NYC one of the best place for young couple BUT ...
Stanford is better, good whether (as grugani wrote), ocean, beach. Plus other stuff like 30 vs 220, repuration, ratings and etc.
P.S. I have been admited to Columbia but rejected by SLS. If I were you I wouldn't hesitate - SLS.
Stanford or Columbia any advice?

You right I wasn't sure whether it should be advice (noun) or advise (verb), but didnt have anybody to ask.
My writing isn't very good. This is why I haven't registered before it takes me too long to write. I did write all my application essays myself, and hopefully my English will improve during my LLM.
