Just find this mail in my "spams" from SLS, has anyone received this e-mail too?

"As an applicant to Stanfords Master of Laws (LLM) program in International Economic Law, Business & Policy (IELBP), I write to regretfully inform you that we are putting this program on hold for the immediate future and will therefore not be admitting any students to the Class of 2013. Due to unexpected developments, the decision was made to not move forward with bringing in a new class at this time.

We understand that this decision affects your enrollment plans elsewhere so we wanted to get the information to you as quickly as possible. We will, of course, put through a refund of your application fee if that fee has been received by our office. If you should have any logistical questions, please do not hesitate to contact us"

I have applied to IELBP, but have not received any notice of cancellation so far... This all looks really strange.

Jaime777, thank you for the information concerning the deadlines. It's a long time until the end of the month... hope to be informed in the forefront.

Some words about IELBP: I can not believe that a law school like SLS canceled a program during the application process. This situation is quite curious. Stanford must know how much efforts you guys made to apply, wait for a decision etc. The 125 bucks are the least evil...

I got the email on saturday march 31 at 23:52, Rome time. This is really weird, disappointing. I am not complaining but they should have made up their minds well before march 31, not to have let us know at the last moment. At this point it is a non sense keep thinking what happened.

I totally agree with you for the IELBP programm. What I do not understand is that according to the app tracker, some people seems to have been accepted to this programm....So weird... I am going to try to call them tomorrow... So disappointed about it...

The mail comes from the Office of Admission and the person who wrote the mail is "Faye Deal, the associate Dean for Admissions and Financial Aid".

I hope it is an April joke as Kollaps said! I
