Size Matters!

Another element to take into account is the size of the law schools. Harvard is a pretty big law school.

According to US News Rankings 2007 edition, there are:

- 1712 full-time students currently enrolled at Harvard Law School;

- 585 full-time students currently enrolled at Yale Law School;

- 527 full-time students currently enrolled at Stanford Law School; and

- 589 full-time students currently enrolled at the University of Chicago Law School.

It just means that there are MORE students at Harvard Law School than there are at Yale, Stanford and Chicago COMBINED!!!!

You may have the feeling that the HLS graduates are everywhere

Quite logical!

HLS is three times bigger than Yale, Stanford or Chicago!

But in my view small is beautiful

I personally enjoy the large size. You get a lot of resources, a lot of classes and different focused programs, a lot of organizations, and all sorts of economies of scale. You also have a lot of LLMs. You have to take the initiative to meet people and build relationships with your professors, of course.
