I am very concerned about how to get financial aid so I can study an LL.M in Georgetown. I have searched in its website but it is said that there are no scholarships or financial aid for international students. Is that ok or I am getting confused? I am a peruvian lawyer and one of my main goals is to study abroad an International Trade Law LL.M. Is there a possibility that Georgetown grants scholarships or financial aid? If so, how can apply? Or these are limited only for US lawyers who attend an LL.M?
By the way, I am also interested in attending Stanford or NYU, so if you know how to apply for scholarships there and what university is more "generous", then I would love to hear about it.
Thank you so much for your answer! :)

If you are interested in staying in DC; American University offers full and partial scholarships for foreign students and they have a specialization in International Trade. Good luck!

There are scholarships for foreign students at GULC. For instance, students applying for the LL.M. in Tax can apply for the Graduate Tax Scholarship.

I have a friend who had received full scholarship for her llm at Georgetown, so I'm guessing they do have that option.
And yeah she was a foreign student.
