Hell I'm new here
I'm curious about qualificatin obtaining scholarship in USA, anyone here got schorlarship whether tution or tution & expense? Could you pleae share your experiences and advise me?
1. I have IELST 6.5 score, is that enough to apply for scholarship and apply for LLM?
I heard that thought the applicant don't reach 7.0 score (most of universities in US require) there are posibility to be accepted?
However If i'm accepted for LLM (planing) I cannot affroad all the cost so scholarship is really needed
2. I have 2 years of legal experiences as an in house lawyer, mostly work on labour/corporate/investment etc. Before that I intern in 2 law firms before graduated.
I interest in business law and relevant field and environment also. Vermont, Goerge Washington and Indiana are in my mind.
Is thare any chances? I don't want to send applications to too many Universities because it would costs a lot of fee.

Indiana University School of Law Indianapolis is currently offering extensive scholarships plus an application fee waiver.

To be honest... in my opinion, no one really cares about your IELTS and your work experience (specially if its in the private sector). Of course, both of them are "important" and might be a plus if they have to compare you with other students, but universities are usually likely to select people with outstanding academic background (good GPA, publications, etc.) and finacial needs, depending on the scholarship. In other words, you have to fit the profile for the scholarship (which usually is academic merits and/or financial needs), the rest (IELTS/TOEFL score, work experience, etc.) is a plus but it is not essential.

Your TOEFL or IELTS scores are probably one of the most important elements in scholarship decisions, especially for non-native English speaker candidates. "No one really cares about your IELTS" is an extremely misleading and unthoughtful statement.
