Hi,
I am also from France. I would like to know If someone in France has received an acceptation from NYU.
All the French I know don't have any news.

I also did not hear any thing from NYU yet. I applied for the LLM in Taxation. I guess its a no as you all said - since the YES answers were sent in UPS and the NO answers were sent in regular mail which takes longer.
Does anybody know anything about a waiting list? do NYU send you an answer you are on it or do they tell you NO and later - if a place is opened - let you know you can come if you still want to?!?

AB, sorry too hear that.
Where did you receive the letter? In Haarlem (NL) or New York (USA)???
Which program did you apply for? I've applied for the LLM in General Studies.
I'm still waiting to hear from them, but I think that it will be a rejection too...

They do have a waiting list. I receive a letter yesterday (sent on April 8, 2005 by UPS), informing me that I was placed in a waiting list. The letter included a form whereby I should decide to be placed in the list or to withdraw my application (I'll withdraw). This form must be returned at NYU by May 6,2005. So, I believe that final rejections/acceptance will be notified after such date.
Good luck!
Good luck!

Nothing was mentioned about waiting list in the rejection letter. Cheer up people! You may still have some good news..

Vidya, I got the letter in NY.

If you received a waiting list option sent by UPS on April 8th and I havent received anything yet but when I called NYU they told me it was sent on April 1st - it means its a simple NO since obviously it wasnt sent by UPS...
So I have nothing to hope for, not even a waiting list option...

Agreed...we would have recieved a UPS by now even if sent last week...just strange that we have not even received the regular mail!

True. I guess that now the "you will know today or tommorow" sentance will recently be true...

I wouldn't believe the day they say they've sent your letter... When I called them last week, they said they sent my letter on April 1st. When I called this week, they said they sent my letter on April 4th. Either way, I still haven't received anything!!! :-(

Hi,
I'm from France too and still no answer from NYU...I'm losing hope with every day that passes but have been admitted to UPenn and Fordham Law school...
Do you guys think I'm crazy to even consider going to Fordham Law when I've been admitted to UPenn?
What would you do if you were me?
PS: Please, help! I've already asked everyone around me and now I'm asking strangers to help me...how pathetic...

Bonjour LIvia !!
I would make the same choice if I were in your shoes. Fordham is really respected in New York Law firms. It is a good way to enter a program really competitive and to enjoy New York.
Good luck for your final decision.
Tu viens d'où ?
