Hi Everyone
I am a corporate lawyer with almost five years working experience. I received my law education in the UK so I have zero knowledge of US law, which is a bit embarrassing considering that I am working in a US law firm. Therefore, I am thinking of doing a LLM in the US.
My intention is to have a one-year break from work, explore the interesting and beautiful places in the US, learn US corporate law, make new friends and sit for the NY Bar exam by the way.
Could you please recommend some law schools which suits me?
I read one of the posts here about doing LLM in Harvard. Previously I considered applying to Harvard but it seems that the LLM program there is quite intensive.
Thanks a lot!

If you are interested in corporate law, stick to universities in large cities (or at least close to large cities) with a healthy business market, i.e. NYC, Boston, Philly, San Francisco, Chicago, Washington D.C. I would consider schools like NYU, Columbia, U of Chicago, Northwestern, Berkeley, Stanford, Georgetown, UPenn. Yale also has a strong reputation in corporate law but it is in New Haven. Have been to New Haven a number of times, and can't say I would enjoy spending a year there.
