Question to German aplicants regarding transcripts

saju

I figured that maybe someone here can help me.
I already passed my First and Second Law Exam in Germany and a collegue (who applied for his LL.M. last year) told me it was sufficient to just provide the transcripts of both Law Examens (Staatsexamenszeugnisse) and that there is no need to also send the individual University courses/grades (Studienbuch).
Now one University contacted me and asked me to hand in my individual grades from my University studies (Studienbuch) as well. I am a little confused if this is common practice, and if I should have my grades from University send to LSAC asap or if it just something that only this one Law School requires.
I don't mind sending my grades from University, but I fear that I won't be able to hand them in in due time as some application deadlines have already passed.
I would be extremly thankful, if someone could tell me about their experience in the aplication procedure

As the LLM Program Director at a US law school, I think the request for transcripts is the norm. I believe it would be rare, in fact, for a school not to request transcripts of all applicants, American or foreign. If you're planning to apply to more than one law school, you probably should send the transcripts to LSAC.

Thank you for your reply. So I guess I will have my University send my transcripts from my studies to LSAC as soon as possible.
