Question regarding the transcript evaluation of lsac

lawufo

hello everyone
I am from china and planning to apply 2017 LLM.

According to the lsac committee's evaluation, both my bachelor's and master's transcripts are received "average". Although i requested them to re-evaluate it, the lsac refused.

So I as a fresh applicant want to konw how does the evaluation report of lsac affect the outcome of application? Whether the average indicate there will no hope of the entrance to T14 law school?

Sorry for taking up your time. Thank you very much!

Do you mean 'A' shortened for Average or Above Average? Not sure what you mean.

If you got an A as a grade letter, that is the highest US equivalent LSAC gives

LSAC grading (average, above average etc...) are only indicative for the law schools. The schools, T14 especially, know how the grading systems work in each country.

For example in France, the top student in a class is around 16/20, which is only worth above average for LSAC because it is not 20/20 (a grade that is never given).

You should not put to much (if any) consideration into LSAC grading and choose your schools according to what you think your application truly worth.
