I'm considering an internship with PwC this coming Fall '09 in their State and Local Tax Division. Does anybody have any experience with the internship program at PwC or any other Big 4? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I know several people who(m) have gone through SALT at 3 of the Big 4 - not just Price. They were all awesome programs "back in the day." (like 2007, ha!)

For what it's worth - in this market you just don't have the luxury of "considering" anything. Even if the internship program is miserable, there is so little choice right now, so I'd be very hesitant to turn down any position if given an offer.
