I'm writing to introduce you to Hofstra Law Schools Master of Laws (LL.M.) in American Legal Studies program for internationally educated law graduates. In all our programs, Hofstra Law enrolled over 40 new international students this fall. Our LL.M. program is an opportunity to study at a highly regarded New York law school and a gateway to being an attorney in the United States. We have a brochure available. Please write to me and I will send it to you by email or in hard copy format.
Located in the greater New York City region, Hofstra Law Schools mission is to prepare passionate students to make an impact in their communities and beyond. Accredited by the American Bar Association and Bar Council of India, Hofstra is a proud member of the International Association of Law Schools and ranked in the top 100 United States law schools.
Hofstra Law School designed the American Legal Studies LL.M. program for lawyers trained outside of the United States who want to advance their careers. The LL.M. program meets the needs of lawyers who either wish to practice law in the United States or return to their home countries. Hofstras one year full-time LL.M. program trains students to handle the increasing internationalization of legal practice and navigate transactions involving the laws of multiple nations. This program also qualifies many foreign law graduates to sit for the New York bar examination and, if they pass, become licensed attorneys in the U.S. Scholarships are available for the fall of 2012 and are awarded to highly qualified applicants. To see if you qualify for a merit based scholarship, simply apply to the program. If accepted, you will then receive an application to apply for scholarship assistance.
Each year, Hofstra Law School welcomes students from around the world to our programs and maintains a growing network of international partners. To learn more about Hofstra Law and our 40th year of creating global impact, visit our Web site at http://law.hofstra.edu. To make things easier to apply, if you include a copy of this post with your materials, I will waive the $75 application fee. Thank you for your time and I look forward to receiving your application.
