It's not an llm, but the SPILS Program at Stanford follows the same purpose.

georgetown has a future law professors fellowship..(not for foreign lawyers though)

All LLM's can be used as a stepping stone for Law teaching. The only difference is that Yale only admits those who want to teach, so your peer group is different.
In term of how it works its pretty much like the other law schools . the difference being that there is far more flexibility about designing courses and taking independent study and in most cases you can opt out of taking an exam and do a paper instead.
