Any US students heard from NYU yet? I've heard from pretty much all the other tax programs out there that I applied to, but NYU is leaving me hanging. Thanks in advance.

same here. i've been admitted to Florida, Georgetown, and Northwestern, but still waiting to hear from NYU. I'm getting a little impatient because I applied in October.
I've pretty much decided I'm going to Florida if I don't get into NYU. How about you?

In at Georgetown, Northwestern, USD, U of WA, and BU. Now I'm just waiting on NYU. I'm not quite sure where I'll go if I don't get in there, but I need to figure it out soon. I really wish USD was a better program because I'd rather be going to classes and hanging out on a beach in my free time. Oh well.
I think I'm just going to call NYU soon and ask them if I can get a decision out of them soon.

From the "your application is complete" email that NYU has sent, they will be notifying domestic applicants of acceptance starting in the last week of May through the middle of June.

I got an email friday afternoon and then a letter yesterday. I actually ended up sending a letter on thursday since I wasn't getting any real responses via email or phone. So, they probably got my letter yesterday and wondered why I sent it since I was already admitted. Oh well. Now I just have to find 60k to pay for it!

I am still waiting...it is getting old. I would like to gage my chances. If you don't mind me asking, what are your credentials?

Sure, I'm at U of WI. They don't give exact rankings, but I'm approx in the top third with good tax grades. I'm a bit of an oddball though because I have an IP background (engineer/IP firm summer work). I just couldn't write patents for a career.

I need your opinion on this.
If you were in the following situation:
Accepted in:
1) UFL - in state tuition, around 6,500
2) Georgetown - scholarship (I`ll have to pay only 13,000) and 2 fellowships
3) NYU
Which route would you take, considering that I do not necesserily want to practice in NYC (the South is fine)?
Thanks.

If I were you the cheapest would win out. All great schools and if you want to be in the south you can't do better than UFL.
