Additional twist

NYU with a Grotius (full tuition) scholarship
or
Columbia with a $25 000 tuition waiver

International law.

Difficult question....Grotius offers full tuition plus living expenses, isn't it? Nevertheless, I would choose CLS

I would choose CLS as well, difference in tuition notwithstanding.

No, in terms of money Grotius includes a full tuition waiver, no additional stipend for living expences etc.

Without scholarships, I would get CLS. Considering full tuition from NYU and U$25,000 tuition waiver from CLS, I'd get NYU. I believe both universities are great, and full tuition scholarship is not only an honor, but also an important economic factor (especially for those spending lifetime savings and taking loans for the LLM).

I would take NYU Grotius over half tuition from CLS. NYU is well known for their International Law program. CLS is a great uni as well, but in addition to the economic advantage, I believe that you will get more benefits (i.e. research assistant and workshops in Int. Law) as a Grotius scholar at NYU.

It is a really tuff and personal decision, especially if you were offered better awards from NYU. Being a VIP students sometimes makes the diference, but you are always going to carry, for a life, the name of the institution you attended. Without any awards, I would choose CLS, but NYU´s international prestigious is out of question.
The point is that there is no regret after the decison, and, in the end, you are going to be happy anyway!
