NYU LLM 2018-2019 Applicants

Hi, if I applied for the Taxation LLM and haven't received answer yet, does it mean I was not accepted? :/

I wouldn't worry yet. Someone got accepted to the international Tax program a week after all the other ones who posted here, so it's possible that they're still rolling out admissions even though they sent out a bulk number of admissions already.

Do they send the declines the same day with the accepted applicants?

I'm also curious.
Would late notification may imply more chance of rejection? or is it irrelevant?

Hello everyone... Any Fulbright student applying through the IIE?

Also a Fulbright nominee, but applied on my own and got admitted. I dont think the IIE process will lower your chances, but only delays the decision a little.

Last year people received their decisions over a three to four week period. Not beeing the first to be admitted shoud not be a problem. Additionally, it seems that they changed the system and make a wider use of the rolling admission, so the period is possibly even longer this year.

Also keep in mind that the domestic Tax LLM is different from all the other programs since it is primary aimed at nationals and has a different deadine etc.

Hi guys, has anyone heard back from NYU on the Int'l Business Regulation, Litigation and Arbitration LLM? Also, have any financial assistance offers been made to any admitted applicants?

A colleague of mine was admitted to that program in January. He also applied for the Global Hauser Scholarship but hasn't heard back yet.

Has anyone heard anything at all from the legal theory programme?

Also- I know this is sensitive but has anyone received rejections so far?

I saw one person had been admitted on February 8th on the application tracker. Another person I know was admitted on the 17th.

It's hard to tell if they really are deciding on a case by case basis or if they are trying to make a class at the same time. If the latter- we might have reason to worry. If the former we should probably hold out for a decision.

I applied for the Traditional LLM and received an email on January 30 that my application was complete and asking to confirm my address but nothing since and am starting to worry. Is it possible to not even get a rejection letter?

Congrats! That's so early.
I applied on deadline date, so it probably takes longer time.
