I honestly don't know what to do at this point. I have three April 1st deadlines.

Same here!! Today I received their standarized e-mail...one week later!

I would accept the best offer you have, pay the deposit (if you need to), and then give really strong consideration to whether you'd be able to justify losing that deposit in order to withdraw and enroll in NYU should you get an offer. If it isn't worth it to you, then stick to your guns and maybe tell NYU you'd like to withdraw? I don't really know what else to suggest. Good luck, I'm in the same boat!

When did you write them and when did you receive their response? I wrote them on friday and they are still silent. That’s super weird because they revert very quick.

Sorry to hear that! I sent the email on March 19 and they responded me the following day -March 20.

But did you by any chance received the "automated" answer before the final one? Just got the standard one too...

Nope. Just received the one mentioned..

Anyone still waiting to hear from the Legal Theory Program?
I am. I sent an email to NYU asking for a decision but just received the standarized answer that my application was under review and decisions are made on a rolling basis, etc..
I was offered admission on 14th March. However, nothing on scholarship yet. Wrote to NYU yesterday asking for expedited response as deadlines for other law schools are approaching.

Has anyone else written to NYU concerning scholarship? If yes, please share your experience.

I did.
They basically told me "The Graduate Admissions Office is and will be making scholarship decisions until the Abril 16th deadline". After that, just the standarized stuff (Online chats, meetings, try seaking for other means of funding, please get to know more of NYU and etc).

Thanks for replying @MV20178.
When did you write to them? And since the standard reply have they given you a final decision on scholarship.

Got a similar reply within 24hr (Th-Fr last week)

My understanding is that they are operating some sort of waiting list. No finaid deadline is April 16th, while finaid deadline is April 2nd. Now like most other people I also have April 2nd deadline at other places. Which is annoying somewhat.

Just received an email from James Jacobs concerning the Traditional program and what all it has to offer.

Any word on scholarship this week? Have they already released all the scholarship decisions? If not, what is the deadline for the same?

Need to take decision between the two. Suggestion please??

I also applied to NYU (general LLM), I think we all share the same problem, my deadline for Georgetown and Cornell are April 1st, but I would like to know what happened to NYU.

Do you think is worth the waiting for NYU? over Georgetown and Cornell? I already paid $300 to GT, and Cornell asks for $700, so is not cheap as you already know. Please answer, I am very interested in NYU. Thank you.

From what I've seen / heard - if you're looking to write the NY bar, then NYU. However, if you're looking for a career in international arbitration / trade / disputes - I think MIDs offer more post-degree career opportunities (albeit outside the US). MIDs is also half the cost.

I am in the same boat. Been accepted into Northwestern, Georgetown and Cornell (with a tuition waiver to Cornell) but still waiting on NYU and Columbia. Sent an email to NYU for an expedited review of my application over a week ago and still no response. Also not sure what to do at this point...

Have you tried asking the other schools for an extension to the acceptance deadline? Good luck!

Just let you know, some people received dean scholarship around March 20th. For the rest, I have no idea they will send the second round scholarship

Hey! If the financial aid acceptance deadline is 2 April 2018, would be fair to assume that if one hasn't received any financial aid offer by now, then you may only receive an offer, if any, after 2 April 2018, once they see how many people have rejected their offers?
I ask this because I have another scholarship offer which I need to accept by 2 April.

Makes sense. I am on the verge of declining NYU's offer because of this.

Hey Scholars,

The Applicant Online Status Check page doesn't exist anymore. Do you face the same thing? I didn't hear from NYU yet.
