Good luck Hybrid. I am in as well and NYU wants me to answer before March 9... needless to say that I have absolutly no idea what to do...
Posted Mar 07, 2010 14:43
I'm also in. I have to decide by March 9 as well...I applied to Harvard and I have no idea what to do..

Did you apply to CLS?
No. Only NYU, HLS and Queen Mary University of London.

I have applied to HLS (no news), CLS (admitted, have until 27 March) and have until 9 March to accept NYU! I really don't know what to do...
Posted Mar 07, 2010 17:15
did you ask nyu for an extension or an expedited decision from hls?
Posted Mar 07, 2010 22:01
The latter (I believe that NYU's letter is crystal clear -- they are not giving extensions).
HLS replied that they were not able to give me an answer before the 29th.

@J_Law:
So you mean HLS will not release their decisions before 29 March?

Gosh...I wish J-Law meant 29th Feb....but surely...there was only 28th Feb this year!!!!! What is going on with Harvard??
Posted Mar 08, 2010 09:45
I also asked Harvard for an expedited decision and they stated that there will be no decision before 29 march and that they would recommend to accept NYU's offer in case I cannot get an extension from NYU..I am inclined to do so...

@XY60:
If were you, I would accept NYU's offer as well. By the way, what's your area of interest, XY60?

I am specialising in the field of international arbitration and complex litigation..Generally speaking, I think that Harvard's reputation is much better than NYU's. I am not so sure whether this is also true when it comes to my fields of interest..

Congrats J_Law, hybrid and XY60! :)
I applied for this program too and am still waiting to hear from them... Not too hopeful anymore.
Does anyone know how big is the intake for this program?

I have no idea on the intake (since it's the first year of this program).
I think I made my mind for NYU. I will rest it tonight and, most likely, send my acceptance tomorrow morning. :s

For me it is international commercial arbitration, investment law and arbitration, international law and contracts.
Hope I'll see you at the village ;-)
