I'm having a lot of trouble trying to pay the $500 housing deposit via an international credit card (Mastercard). The system simply doesn't accept the cards (I tried with three different ones) and the company responsible for the system (CheckFree) told me by phone that they do not accept international cards. I'm already in contact with NYU, but so far I got no solution for the problem. Is there anybody facing this same situation? Any info is much appreciated.

I used an international card and it worked.

did you follow the instructions faithfully? Can't remember exactly but some of the address details you're supposed to enter are provided by NYU in default of your international details.
